DiNunzio's Dolls

The Ragdoll is a true “lap cat” that loves attention, with an incredible unique, loving  personality. They are a very loving breed which are great with children and other pets. Our Ragdolls are socialized with children around the ages of 6+ just from family and friends. They have Non-matting fur which means that they require very little, if any grooming. Plus who could say “No” to their beautiful blue eyes?

Colors and Patterns

All Ragdolls are pointed cats with blue eyes. There are three traditional patterns which are bicolor, mitted, and colorpoint. Lynx is also accepted, which can overlay any of the patterns.  At birth they are born all white.

Their color and pattern start coming in around 2 weeks or so.

Colorpoints have a point colored mask, ears, feet, nose, paw pads and tail. The body is considerably lighter than the points. The colorpoint has no white.

Mitted is point color masked, ears and legs with white mittens on the front feet and white boots on the back legs. The chin, ruff and stomach are white.  It is like the colorpoint but with white markings.

Bicolor has color on the tail, ears, face and some body color (usually known as a “saddle”) The bicolor also has an inverted “V” on the face.

Lynx overlays any one of the above patterns shows as tabby markings on the face in what appears to be the letter “W."

Some kittens are not born with perfect “markings”. Nothing is wrong with them except that some of the color is miss marked.

The colors of a Ragdoll are:

Seal- Body color may vary from fawn to warm brown. Nose leather and foot pads are dark brown.

Blue- Body color is ivory. Nose leather and paw pads are dark blue-grey.

Lilac- Body color is milk whit. Nose leather has a lilac hue and paw pads are coral pink.

Chocolate- Body is ivory. Nose leather is burn rose and paw pads are salmon pink.

Red- Color ranges from light red/ orange to a dark orange

Torties- Overlays any of the above patters. Torti points, color-wise, will generally have Red or Cream mixed with one of the other colors. (Seal or Blue)

Cream- Almost white to a light cream

Torbies- Are torties with stripes/lynx markings.
